The Volksbund Deutsche Kriegsgräberfürsorge commemorates the dead of both world wars and the victims of tyranny. This database, which is combined with the function of a grave list, is of a purely documentary nature. We know that through German politics and warfare incomprehensible crimes were committed, especially during the Second World War. The victims of war and tyranny deserve compassion and remembrance. The death of every human being in war is a call for peace. Even the dead who bear guilt have the right to a grave. Therefore, we document the names of all German war dead here. The Volksbund Deutsche Kriegsgräberfürsorge works for reconciliation and understanding and is committed to a united Europe.
